American Spirit Elite evolved from the City of Altamonte Springs recreational cheer program. The Altamonte Springs Eagles began in 2002 and made a great lead-way for recreational competition teams. In 2006 when the City had to eliminate programs the cheer program became a privately owned company, American Spirit Elite. Kim Wheeler became the sole owner of ASE in January 2010.
American Spirit Elite is an air-conditioned cheer gym conveniently located near the corner of Markham Woods Road and E.E. Williamson in Longwood, FL. We offer year round competitive cheerleading as well as tumbling classes, private tumbling lessons, open gyms, mini camps, and birthday parties.
Our mission is to lead by example, providing a positive environment for all who participate in our program, while teaching the fundamentals of cheerleading. We promise to promote enthusiasm for the sport and teach good sportsmanship to all.
